Developed a system with Haiwell PLC to get the weight of the corrugated box and it gets rejected from the line if it is not in range. And if it is in range, the system prints the weight on the box by Domino inkjet printer. PLC sends the printing data to the printer through serial communication. Designed and developed two gantry robots for palletizing corrugated boxes in the book manufacturing plant and pen assembling plant. Two methods have been used, one with mechanical gripping and the other one with vacuum gripping. Both robots consist of 3 linear axes and one rotational arm.
In the flexo printing section, three separate processes(ruling, folding, and cutting) are combined into one process. The folding machine was connected at the end of the conventional ruling machine, and then the cutting unit was fixed which was developed internally
Designed and implemented a book stacking unit for the Bielomatik machine (Book Manufacturing Machine). It can mix and stack books according to the required quantity. It is installed between the Bielomatic machine and the polythene sealing machine. The main actuators were the induction motors and pneumatic cylinders.
